Fisher House Miami

Our Task

The South Florida Community has been challenged to raise the intial $2 million dollars of seed money for this public-private partnership. The federal government will provide the land and the Fisher House Foundation will provide the $4 - $6 million more to design, construct, furnish and operate the Miami Fisher House.

A local Task Force Committee has been formed to generate interest, provide the fund-raising focus and expedite the construction of the Fisher House VAHS- Miami.

So little has been asked of us during this period of our history. No war taxes, no rationing, no draft, no mandatory anything. But our obligation to our military men and women is great, the goal within reach and the reward is immeasurable.
