The Fisher House Foundation, Inc., a tax deductible 501 (C)(3) organization, provides a number of services in support of America’s military men and women. The primary program is the Fisher House. The Fisher House program is a unique private-public partnership that provides a home away from home so that America’s military families can be together during extended treatment for serious injury or lengthy physical and/or occupational therapy.
Because members of the military and their families are stationed worldwide and must often travel great distances for specialized medical care, Fisher House™ Foundation constructs, furnishes and donates "comfort homes," built on the grounds of major military and VA medical centers.
Each Fisher House creates a warm, compassionate environment where families find support and encouragement from others in similar circumstances.

At 2 PM in County Commission Chambers, 111 NW 1st Street, the Commission will address the Miami Fisher House Resolution in support
of $1 million funding on the Miami VAHS campus. We need you there to show the level of community support necessary to get this Resolution passed.
